This hotel is even nicer than the photos. Very clean and comfortable. Drinking water is still available for free, and there is also a small kitchen. Eating breakfast while sitting in a beautiful, well-maintained garden is the best. It was the best breakfast I've ever had while traveling. It's so delicious. The menu is varied. You will have the opportunity to taste typical Mexican food. The room is spacious and clean and there is enough space for luggage. The beds and bedding are all comfortable and clean. You can see a really nice sunrise from the balcony. Everything is provided, including a TV, refrigerator, electric kettle, cups, and chairs. It is a 5-minute walk to the lake and square. The location is very good and quiet. From check-in to check-out, the staff's kindness and beautiful smiles continued. It was a very satisfactory place with nothing lacking. I was very happy while staying at the hotel.

Hotel Maria Maria is a very well run small hotel in Bacalar. We had room #10 that has a nice large south facing balcony, a very comfortable king bed, small fridge, electric kettle and a small safe. The A/C was quiet and very efficient. The extra nice touches here are the drinking water stations, the great breakfast, parking and the lovely owners. The location is excellent, stay here you will love it.
We had a great experience staying here. The hotel is small but cosy and near the centre. The Mexican breakfast was included and delicious and served very quickly. The hotel had a nice nature aestethic; the rooms were a little dark however.
